My name is Carole Iskandar and I am the owner of Kibberia Restaurant and Café. Just in case you were wondering, the name of the restaurant, Kibberia, does not have any real meaning in Arabic or any other language for that matter. The name is basically made up of the word "Kibbe", which is a famous Middle Eastern dish, and the letters "ria" as in Pizzeria. We have a variety of special Kibbe dishes, so I thought it would be nice to use a catchy name that is easy to remember. I wanted my restaurant to provide a casual, warm and inviting environment where people can relax, have fun, and enjoy a delicious healthy meal. All the food that I serve is prepared exactly the way I make it at home for my own family using the highest quality and freshest ingredients. I have worked on my recipes for more than 2 years to ensure I can maintain the same quality and taste as I start serving the food in a restaurant setting. I also selected the highest quality gourmet coffee that we freshly grind and brew in the restaurant using the best equipment available so that my customers can enjoy it with our fresh pastries and other delicious baked goods. We are conveniently located on 93 Mill Plain Rd. in Danbury, CT. The restaurant seats around 48 people and there is ample parking in the plaza. Everything listed on the menu can also be ordered for take-out.
