We appreciate your business!!! As our most valued customer, help us know what we are doing Good and where we can do Better.

I have never been to Kibberia before but I had heard reviews from friends, so I decided to try it last night. I am now mad at myself for not going there sooner!! The food was plentiful and delicious - such a great value and easily on par with food I have had in travels to the Middle East and Europe. The staff was extremely friendly and our food arrived quickly. Lots of comfortable seating and delicious desserts too - overall I am so glad I found a new favorite restaurant in Danbury!

If you combine a wonderful ambience with cool décor and aromatic and fresh food, plus a good dose of chivalrous customer service, your final product is Kibberia Middle Eastern Restaurant and Café. Freshness is in the air as you enter the front door. The bright colorful décor gives you that sense of one of the restaurants on the New York circuit but better, and you don’t have to drive one hour to experience that because Kibberia is right here in Danbury. As a family-run and operated business, Kibberia offers a variety of savory dishes, from the traditional tabouleh and Baba Ghanouj to creative combo meals such as Kibbe pocket served with fresh hummus and tabouleh, or you can replace the kibbe for classic falafel balls or Kafta, among other combinations. Hungry yet? To bring those flavors to life, the soul of the business, Chef Carole Iskandar, originally from Byblos, Lebanon, combines fresh ingredients, spicing them up with a pinch of passion and her own family recipes, preserving the essence of the dishes but igniting your palate with her own innovative flavors. “I do not have restaurant business experience, but I always liked to cook and experiment with food,” explained Carole, adding, “Besides Middle Eastern dishes, I also like to cook Indian and Asian dishes.” She may not have experience in the restaurant business, but Carole, her husband Sam, also from Lebanon, and her children, Daniel, 19, and Carina, 17, certainly know how to run one and please the customers. Although the restaurant has been open since January, they held an official grand opening on July 9, with belly dancers from the Connecticut Dance Oasis Center for Middle Eastern Dance in Danbury. Dozens of patrons enjoyed the entertainment while savoring items from Kibberia’s menu and a special addition of rice and chicken and Sheesh Taouk dishes. “It was a great success and a lot of people have been asking us about doing more such events. We are now trying to figure out how best to schedule such events,” said Sam. When asked what differentiates Kibberia from other restaurants, the Iskandar family agrees that Kibberia is unique even by the standards for restaurants in Lebanon. “In designing the menu, my main concern was to ensure that all the dishes we serve are very fresh, very healthy and of the highest quality. So I structured the menu in a way that all the items are prepared on request,” explained Carole. If you are looking for a modern comfortable setting, where you can enjoy fresh and healthy food, gourmet coffee and teas, a wide variety of desserts and free WiFi, Kibberia is a perfect place to drop by during lunch or dinner time.

This place is great! Awesome salads and the most adorable little pastry bites. Cute, colorful, relaxed atmosphere. Oh, and great tea selection.

I have gone there twice and been impressed both times. Both times I got the Chicken Shawarma Pocket Combo. The chicken shawarma is fantastically garlicky and delicious. The tabouleh is very good, with lots of tender parsley and tomatoes. The hummus is good and so is the baba ghanouj. Servings are generous and prices are very fair for what you get. Denfinitely fresh food!

This place is really good. I had the Kibbie combo, 6 different types. I choose beef, chicken, potato, and pumpkin. They were all delicious. Though my favorites were the beef and the potato. The humus was delicious and creamy. The tabouleh was delicious, really really delicious. Very fresh. I am putting this on my list of place to recommend. The pita that is served with each meal comes in a thin plastic bag to keep it fresh. If you like middle eastern food, you will like Kibberia.

“Fresh and delicious”
I was passing through and saw the sign from the road and I could not believe my eyes. This place is tucked into one of those little malls . Kibbe is one of my favorite things in the world so a quick turn of the steering wheel and in I went. I was not disappointed. There were so many kinds, even more than my grandma made so I order the kibbe combo plate that had one of everything including side salads of tabouli and hummus. That was to go. For eating right there I had the falafel salad which was so tasty and fresh and used ingredients of very high quality. I wish this place was closer to home. I would be a regular.

The salads are amazing! Actually, everything on the menu is amazing. My family and I have been coming here almost once a week and have never been disappointed.

This is my favorite restaurant in Danbury. Being a vegetarian, it's hard to find good variety, but that lentil and cabbage salad, it doesn't even sound good to me, is so outstanding I can't even tell you. For the reasonable price of one salad, it is big enough for two good meals. And those pumpkin and lentil kibbes melt in your mouth. Yum!

I have eaten at Kibberia many times now & keep going back because it is FABULOUS! The food is delicious, fresh and so affordable! With their free Wi Fi it is also a very nice alternative to Starbucks (Kibberia's coffees and teas are delightful too!) Save room for dessert!
